High frequency corona treatment provides
special treatment on PVC and other vinyl surfaces materials which makes the inking process more even and advoid discolouring.

Why use pre-treatment unit?

As those general web, aluminum foil, PC, PVC, PET, Labeling material are non-polar material. Those are low wetability and tension value for printing ink, dye and glue, that will cause uneven colouring, discolouring etc.

A perfect corona treatment can balance the
rate of wetability in terms of tension value.
Tension Value = Rate of Wetability

Printing materials wetability is directly varied with the printing quality.  The narrower the wetability to standard value, the better printing quality it can be.

Treatment Process

There are 3 parts where necessary for a complete corona treatment set.

1. Generator
2. High Voltage Transformer
3. Discharge Unit

Theory of Corona Treatment

There are many Atoms (+ and -) lying on the surface of materials. The sparks inject from the discharge unit helps to balance the random arrangement of Atoms. It makes the better absorption of ink.
